We're currently seeking suggestions for tutorial topics.
Would you like to see a tutorial on a particular topic? If so, post it in this thread and we'll see what we can do.
If there's enough interest on a particular topic(s), we will write the tutorial for everyone to see.

I've an idea, if you mind...
I'm not so able in php and MySQL but I think that many people (myself as the first one :-) would be interested in a tutorial on how to setup a simple MySQL database and to create:
1) a page for inserting data into the database
2) a page for searching the database and displaying the results
What do you think?

shiftsrl,
Depending on your needs, the simplest way to achieve this is to use phpMyAdmin. It comes by default with any cPanel enabled web hosting account.
Depending on my specific needs, this is quite often all I normally use to insert data into a database.
When I do the MySQL powered templating system, I will assume that you have access to this script, as it makes the initial set up of the site quite quick and painless.
Cheers,
James

Sure, I know PHPMyAdmin and I use it, but I would be interested in a tutorial for people that don't use PHPMyAdmin so I can learn how to do that :-)

How is the tutorial coming along? Are you having trouble finding the time to complete it. :)
